Simple Superduo Diamond Free Earring Pattern

Ever since I first saw these superduo earrings on pinterest, I was obsessed and knew I had to figure out how to make them! They’re perfect for any casual outfit. My favourite pair is the blue and bronze one.

There are so many fun patterns and variations you can make with these. I’m partial to the designs in the first row like the frame and chevrons, but you could do stripes, speckles, ribbons, crescent moons, gradients, or even monochrome! I’ve illustrated some cool two-colour patterns here, but there are so many cool options and variations.

I’m not sure where this pattern originated, but there are a few ways of making it. My preference is to use two needles and about a meter (3.5 feet) of GoodThread. My usual pick, Beadalon Supplemax, will work, but may sit unevenly if your tension isn’t perfect.

Because this pattern uses only superduo beads, you can substitute miniduo beads if you prefer. I typically like to add a few seed beads to accommodate my earring too.

If you like, you can easily adapt this earring into a pendant, key-chain / bag-pull, or charm!
