Trillium Earrings Free Beading Pattern
I’m pleased to debut an original beading pattern for these Trilllium Earrings. Trilliums are the national flower of the province of Ontario, but since they’re somewhat rare to endangerment I don’t think these flowers get enough love and admiration.
These earrings don’t come out very big, they’re just a bit smaller than an actual trillium, coming in at around 2.5cm in diameter, or about the size of a quarter.
Supplies Needed:
Superduo beads (two colours for foliage and petals)
For the green/white pair I used Dark Aqua Travertine and White Luster
11/0 seed beads (two colours for foliage and petals)
For the green/white pair I used Travertine Turquoise and Opaque White
8/0 seed beads (optional, can be replaced with 3× 11/0 beads)
Jump rings
Earring hooks
Approx 60cm thread per earring. I used Beadalon Supplemax monofilament illusion cord 0.25mm and collapsible eye needle, but your favourite fishing line + needle combo would work.
I made a variant of the pattern with some different colours too, in case you’re craving a less natural colour palette. I swapped most 8/0s for extra 11/0s, and strategically placed 8/0s on opposite ends to connect different modules with jump rings to make a bracelet.
